Poet Helen Boyles celebrated midsummer with a sail upriver from Galmpton Creek to the old quay of the Sharpham estate.
Here are some images of Ben Yates‘ Electri City and Photo Cubism in the garage at The Little Gallery on the Farm for Art Trek 09. It is the final week of the event and you can catch it at the gallery from Wednesday, June 24 to Sunday, June 28 between 10.30am to 4.30pm.
The Moor Poets have been out and about this midsummer, snapping pictures of things that inspire them at noon, on Sunday, June 21. It’s a project instigated by our chums over at the People’s Republic of South Devon, and the first response was from Susan Taylor.
A conference and discussion to critically explore contempoary South Asian arts, its development in the UK and programming opportunities for South West regional venues and festivals, will take place at the Barbican Theatre Plymouth on Tuesday, July 7, between 11am and 4pm. |
