Edge 2010 pass on their skills to new generation of Devon dancers

Edge Dance and Devon dancers

Dance students from Devon schools had a fantastic opportunity to learn from one of the country’s top contemporary dance companies in the country.

Students from St Peters High School and Ivybridge Community College participated in the workshop which was held by Edge, the postgraduate performance company of London Contemporary Dance School.

The workshop, led by company members Pia Fodinger, Jamila Johnson-Small and Martha Maria Pasakopoulou, was designed to show the students how to create their own contemporary dance pieces and learn about specific movement styles.

Edge is currently celebrating it’s 10th birthday with a touring dance showcase from 10 exceptional dancers on the cusp of their professional careers. They performed at Exeter Phoenix on Monday 10 & Tuesday, May 11.
