Devon-based students, get to Ways with Words lit fest for free!

Dart Student

Ways with Words, the literary festival at Dartington, is offering Devon-based students the opportunity to attend this year’s festival at Dartington Hall for free!

There are several bursaries on offer to young people aged 17-25 who are passionate about literature and politics.

The Ways with Words Festival of Words and Ideas is held annually with the medieval backdrop of Dartington Hall and regularly attracts the best writers from a wide variety of fields.

This year the line-up includes writers, poets, comedians, historians, environmentalists, philosophers and prominent media figures. Just some of the famous names that will be speaking at the event include Jeremy Hardy, Giles Coren, Lynn Barber, Ian McEwan and Andrew Motion.

The festival runs from Friday, July 9 to Sunday, July 18 and bursaries cover the cost of either a five-day or 10-day Rover Pass.

The full festival programme is available on the Ways with Words website

Interested, enthusiastic students should contact Ways with Words for more information and a bursary application form. Telephone 01803 867373 or email office@wayswithwords.co.uk
