Students of the Masters in Entrepreneurship for Creative Practice at Plymouth College of Art will showcase their work in progress for their interim show, Transpositions at the Royal William Yard, Plymouth between Saturday and Tuesday, March 5-8.
Students from Plymouth and the rest of the South West region include creative practitioners from diverse backgrounds such as fine art, applied art, glass, ceramics, jewellery, sound art, sequential art, metalwork and landscape architecture, and others. First year students will be showing their artefacts and experiences, while the second year’s cohort is premiering a new film showing their evolving practice.
The MA’s programme leader, Alastair Fuad-Luke told ArtsCulture: “This exhibition is a chance for the public to see the exciting work from this challenging postgraduate course and see how the students are probing new directions in their creative practice.
“We hope everyone will enjoy coming along to this great venue to enjoy the atmosphere of this waterside venue, while being inspired by the playful, thoughtful works that gently interrogate the human and inter-connected nature of ‘things’.”
