Arts marketing internship opportunity at The Devon Guild of Craftsmen

Devon Guild of Craftsmen

Do you want to build your work experience in the largest contemporary crafts organisation in the South West? Devon Guild of Craftsmen is offering marketing internships this summer running from July to September.

They are looking for lively individuals with an interest in people to assist with market research, conducting face-to-face interviews with our visitors at Riverside Mill in Bovey Tracey.

There will be a training day and staff support to get you started. This voluntary, part-time role will include inputting data and working with our office and marketing staff to build on recent research and develop a better picture of our current audience.

Successful candidates will also have the opportunity to: gain experience of other aspects of arts marketing; develop insight into the running of a gallery and visitor attraction; practice and develop marketing and administrative skills; and apply your experience to career-related skills and interests.

Candidates must be IT literate and confident in dealing with the public. This is a voluntary (unpaid) post and hours are negotiable.

The bods at the Guild can offer reimbursement for travel expenses, but you will arrange your own transport to Bovey Tracey.

If you’re interested, in the first instance, drop ‘em an email by June 20 to devonguild@crafts.org.uk with a short statement about why you are interested in this opportunity at the Devon Guild of Craftsmen (max 250 words) plus your current CV.
