Exeter artist creates cover art for Fangoria mag

Exeter-based filmmaker and artist Ashley Thorpe has created the cover art for Fangoria Magazine.

The image is an impressionist painting of Peter Cushing as Tales from the Crypts’ undead Grimsdyke, and the issue is dedicated to the best of British horror.

Ashley, an award-winning filmmaker and regular contributor to the renowned Fangoria magazine, also provide a detailed examination of the Victorian Penny Dreadful – he is in the process of making a series of films resurrecting Penny Dreadful sensibilities.
