New and up-and-coming talent with be showcased alongside nationally and internationally significant artists in the new major regional exhibition, the Plymouth Contemporary Open 2015.
The Plymouth Contemporary Open explores the relationship between history and the very latest innovations and understandings within contemporary art practice.
Artists include: Bram Thomas Arnold, ATOI (Amy Thomas and Oliver Irvine), Dan Beard, Harriet Bowman, Jennifer Boyd and Alice May Williams, Jessie Brennan, Bristol Diving School, Chloe Brooks, Michael Cox, Tim Foxon, Naomi Frears, Laura Gower, Jane Hayes Greenwood, Will Kendrick, Samuel Levack and Jennifer Lewandowski, Cathy Lomax, Mateusz Marek, Pilar Mata Dupont, David Morgan-Davies, Ailbhe Ní Bhriain, Steven Paige, Sarah Poots, Michael Porter, Ruaidhri Ryan, Paul Vivian.
The Plymouth Contemporary Open is open from July 11 to August 29, 2015, at the Peninsual Arts Gallery, Roland Levinsky Building, Plymouth University. It is free, and opening times are Monday to Friday, 10am to 5pm and Saturday, 11am to 4pm.
