Plymouth Arts Centre is looking for an intern, who is a motivated and committed individual who study at undergraduate or postgraduate level in Art History, Arts Management, Curating or related courses and have a genuine interest to pursue a career in the visual arts sector.
An in-depth understanding and passion for performance art are essential for this role.
The intern will assist in the curatorial development and implementation of an exhibition and Live Laboratory Symposium curated in collaboration with the Marina Abramović Institute 2010. The successful candidate will support the Curator in all aspects of the development of this exhibition, working alongside the Curators and artists to ensure the successful management of this project.
The internship will run for two days a week from October 2009 – January 2010, extra hours will be required during the Live Laboratory Symposium 21 – 24 January.
