Bideford’s Burton Art Gallery and Museum is looking for a learning development officer to cover maternity leave.
The role will includes devising and providing learning programmes for schools, colleges and the local community, with a particular emphasis on the newly purchased RG Lloyd Slipware collection.
Applicants should have a degree in a relevant discipline and previous experience of developing and delivering learning provision within an educational, gallery or museum setting, as well as a recent knowledge of the National Curriculum, ans specifically Art, Design and History.
Good IT skills and excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential.
Some work over weekends, bank holidays and evenings. The job is 22,221 -£24.646 per annum (pro rata) for 18 hours per week.
