Devon sculptor Luke Shepherd’s bust of Leo Abse to be housed in the National Museum of Cardiff

It took Devon portrait sculptor Luke Shepherd six sittings to capture Labour rebel and social reformer Leo Abse in a reflective mood. The bust will be donated to the National Museum Cardiff, and will be unveiled on Thursday, October 22, the 40th anniversary of the passing of the Divorce Reform Act 1969, which Abse pressed through parliament.
