Winner of The Brook Gallery Prize Award for Artistic Innovation at the Originals’ 09 show in London, Herme Bellido, has put together a unique collection for the Brook’s February exhibition. Called Nothing Has Been Written the work combines her skills in colour and print in a series of screen prints that relates to the journey of life, which, according to Herme, ‘engages the viewer in a silent conversation’. The show runs from Sunday, February 14 to Sunday, March 7.
After our North Devon Festival Art Trek story about the Little Gallery on the Farm, we were intrigued by the venue, so we asked gallery owner and photographer Sarah Boait to tell us more.
The Watermark ‘community venue’ in Ivybridge, featuring a library, coffee shop, business units, tourist information centre and multi-purpose hall, is celebrating its first anniversary.
Harbour House, Kingsbridge, is inviting applications from artists to show their work in the building’s ground floor gallery.
Bideford’s Burton Art Gallery is going through refurbishment, but the super gallery and arts space will stay open for the duration. |
