Torbay, Dorset and Swindon have been working together to increase participation in the arts since autumn 2008, along with the Arts Council South West and Audiences South West, and they’ve come up with the thrilling idea of putting something on. They are after an artist to produce a world class piece of work in light and or sound.

Teignmouth’s new Carlton Centre (to replace the Carlton Theatre) planning application to be submitted

The Carlton Centre project group, which is looking at the building that will replace the Carlton Theatre, Teignmouth, have been working through the final concept and designs for the building and have asked officers to prepare and submit a formal planning application to Teignbridge District Council.

Free enamel workshops for South West arts professionals and practitioners

The Devon Guild of Craftsmen and the Centre for Enamel Research (there is such a place?) at the University of the West of England, have pooled their resources to offer 10 free places (usually cost £120 each) on two enamel workshops.
