Honiton’s Thelma Hulbert Gallery is inviting East Devon residents to come up with a theme for the gallery’s Open 2010 exhibition, to be held between Saturday, July 24 and Saturday, September 11.
It’s the first time the gallery has had a theme for its Open, which will celebrate the gallery’s re-launch after five months of refurbishment.
The competition, which ends o March 12, and all you have to do is come up with a theme that will inspire artists to enter the Open exhibition and email it to firstname.lastname@example.org or post it to Arts Development, East Devon District Council, Knowle, Sidmouth EX10 8HL marked ‘Open Theme’.
A prize will be given for the best suggestion.
The Thelma Hulbert Gallery holds an Open exhibition every other year. Both established and emerging artists are encouraged to enter. Full details will be available on the gallery website this spring. Don’t contact the gallery directly as it is currently closed for refurbishment
