The U:1 Studio artists in Plymouth are holding a Canapes and Fancy Garb event as A Collaborative Performance on What We Love and hate About the Art World! on Friday, December 11, at Plymouth Arts Centre between 6pm and 10pm.
With a rent-a-crowd aesthetic, they question enjoyable element of gallery openings – food, drink and chatter – and the less fun elements ‘promoting yourself to total strangers and politely critquing obect in a gallery that you either do or do not love?’
They says: ‘Whatever you love or hate about the art world, we want you to share it with us ain a lighthearted demonstrative environment.’
All you have to do is dress up in fancy garb and bring fancy canapes (all ingredients clearly labelled).
