It was a cold and windy (and wet) night, when our intrepid reporters skipped along to Princetown in Dartmoor for the launch of the Dartmoor trail and the Triparks exhibition.
Duchy Square Centre for Creativity, a rather grand name for a rather grand arts centre run by creative consultancy business Integria Strategic Solutions was opened barely two months ago to nurture the talent of local artists through their workshops, incubation units and by being able to sell their wares.
Featured in the Dartmoor Arts trail are: Powder Mills Pottery at Yelverton; Chagford’s Contemporary Studio Pottery; Ludgate Fine Art Gallery; the Mythic Garden Sculpture Exhibition; Penny Simpson Pottery and Anne Read Mosaics at Moretonhampstead, The Devon Guild of Master Craftsmen at Bovey Tracey, Artworks Gallery South Brent, Delamore Gallery at Cornwood and finally in Tavistock, Elford Fine Art and South West Crafts.
Duchy Square also has a Triparks exhibtion, which brought together six artists working across the UK in three national parks: Dartmoor, Exmoor, and Northumberland.
