Eileen Cooper will launch three new woodcut prints at her solo Crosscurrent show at the Brook Gallery, Budleigh Salterton, which runs from Friday, October 16 to Thursday, November 12.
Gallery owner, Gallery owner Angela Yarwood told Arts+Culture: “Eileen has lectured at the Royal College of Art and is currently teaching at London’s Royal Academy schools.
“The title piece Crosscurrent was exhibited at this year’s RA summer exhibition.
“The exhibition will launch three brand new woodcut prints continuing on the same theme which we are excited to showcase at the gallery. They are so new in fact, that we’re waiting now for the ink to dry ahead of framing.”
Born in Glossop, Derbyshire in 1953, Eileen attended London’s Goldsmith’s College between 1971 and 1974 and then on to the Royal College of Art to 1977.
Exhibition runs from Friday, October 16 to Thursday, November 12. at the Brook Gallery, Budleigh Salterton, it is open every day, except Sunday mornings, from 10am to 5pm
