The Devon Sinfonietta and the Exeter Bach Society are getting together for a mashup of Carl Orff’s Carmina Burana – and by mash up, we mean performance – at The Corn Exchange, Exeter, on Sunday, February 22, at 5.30pm.
The concert programme also includes Dances of Galanta by Kodaly, Hungarian Sketches by Bartok and Ballet Suite No 1 by Shostakovich.
The Devon Sinfonietta, a new group of 24 young players that has grown out of The Devon Youth Orchestra.
Singers are invited to the join the Exeter Bach Society workshop on Saturday, February 21, from 9.30am until 5pm, in The Mint Church, Fore Street.
