Lipson Community College has automatically qualified as a specialist art college after its outstanding rating in its Ofsted report last year.
Principal Steve Baker told the Plymouth Herald: “The performing arts have acted as a catalyst for college improvement. The passion and energy the students show in all aspects of their work, is a true testament to a well-rounded education. We will continue to raise attainment and aspirations through our high performing specialism.”
There are also a host of evening classes at the school.
