South Devon writer Louise Jenkins seeks a small group of people who are prepared to workshop a new script she is developing over the next two months. The script has to be ready Friday, May 14, so there will be about three workshops between now and then.
Actors will be required to read through and act out the play as it develops, under minimal direction from the writer. Anyone with experience in drumming would also be very welcome. The script will combine movement, language and sound to convey a story of friendship, conflict and self-discovery.
Louise is visually impaired and she is writing the script as part of her Open University degree. She is unable to read the script aloud for herself and having it read by a group of actors is the only way she can determine how the lines are working and judge the length of the play.
