No more kitchen sink dramas, shop check-out dramas are the order of the day in Trading Local when a series of plays by Devon writers are performed in shops throughout Exeter’s Sidwell Street on Saturday, November 14.
The plays will be performed in 17 locations and have been developed in free writing workshops run by Sheial Hannon, creative producer from Bristol-based company Show of Strength, which invented Trading Local an dfirst tried it in Bedminster, Bristol earlier this year.
Some 14 of the submissions have been selected for production from writers with a variety of levels of experience. Each play will be performed by professional South West actors.
The full performance schedule will be available for download from the Exeter Northcott theatre on by Saturday, 7 November.
