Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra brings its Cello Eulogy Concert to Exeter and Plymouth

Wednesday 21 & Friday 23 February 2018
Exeter University Great Hall, and Plymouth Guildhall

Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra, under guest conductor Christoph König, will perform ‘Elgar’s Cello Eulogy’ at Exeter University Great Hall, and Plymouth Guildhall on Wednesday 21 and Friday 23 February 2018 respectively, both performances starting at 7.30pm. Christoph König is a conductor of deep intelligence and musicality who is widely admired for his sensitivity, clarity and elegant interpretations.

Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra’s ‘Last Night of the Christmas Proms’ to get festivities in full swing at the Great Hall Exeter

Wednesday 20 December at 7.30pm

Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra, together with popular guest-conductor Pete Harrison, will present an evening of seasonal classics and hits from shows at the Great Hall, Exeter on Wednesday 20 December at 7.30pm. Joining them from the London stages will be talented singers Annie Skates and James Spilling for a Christmas concert with a distinct Broadway flavour.

Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra’s Monumental Brahms concert comes to Exeter

Thursday 1 February 2018 at the University of Exeter Great Hall at 7.30pm

On Thursday 1 February, Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra, under its chief conductor Kirill Karabits, will return to Exeter’s Great Hall. Joining the BSO will be the award-winning concert-pianist Sunwook Kim, who will perform Brahms’ Piano Concerto No.1, alongside exploring the Ukrainian symphonic tradition with the 3rd Symphony of Boris Lyatoshinsky.
