Visions of Mughal India: The Collection of Howard Hodgkin at the National Museum Cardiff

On tour from the Ashmolean Museum, this exhibition, selected from Howard Hodgkin’s private collection, includes outstanding, diverse and beautiful paintings from throughout the Mughal period (c1550-1850): illustrations of epics and myths, royal portraits, scenes of court life and a spectacular group of elephant portraits.

It’s at the National Museum Cardiff from July 27 to November 3
