Outstanding student talent spanning a range of arts disciplines will go on show to the public at a free exhibition opening across Plymouth.
Three BA (Hons) Ceramics & Glass students from Plymouth College of Art have collaborated to create Emerging Natural Beauty, an exhibition of handmade glass and ceramic artwork inspired by nature, which will take place at Ocean Studios, Royal William Yard, from 12 April to 15 April 2017.
The annual Plymouth University student art shows give people a unique opportunity to glimpse what is going on behind the closed doors of the university’s art studios and potentially spot the future stars of the art world. This year the Martin Bush Gallery in Plymouth’s Royal William Yard is supporting eight art students from the joint honours degree, students who are studying fine art alongside Art History.
Martin Bush presents New Beginning, his spring show of new paintings charting a year in his life as artist in residence at the Royal William Yard. The works follow a journey through seasons and emotions; dark and moody pieces are alongside vibrant colourful canvases; small and intimate works with large jaw-dropping visions.
