Part of Salvatore Arancio’s exhibition An Arrangement of Materials Ejected at the Spacex is a sound piece (Everything Keeps Dissolving), using a tune from experimental electronic band Coil, originally created to represent what’s coyly refered to ‘a certain hallucinogenic chemical’.
Exeter’s Spacex Gallery is holding one of its popular (and healthy) Gallery Breakfasts.
The Spacex is presenting the next step in community cookbooks – a tradition which has apparently been around since the 15th century – with an exhibition of The Recipe Exchange, an ongoing project by artist Helen Pritchard, which has been developed off-site and online since September 2010 in consultation with residents of two villages in East Devon.
The summer exhibition at the Spacex gallery Exeter is refreshing called Underwater, and includes work by 10 international artists.
As part of this year’s Exeter Summer Festival, a huge wind-powered mechanical animal sculpture will go walkabout in Exeter’s Princesshay between Friday and Sunday July 2 and 4, from 11am to 5pm.
