The newly expanded and refurbished THG (Thelma Hulbert Gallery) in Honiton, Devon, is currently seeking makers who produce high quality, contemporary work, either one offs or small scale production, to show in the annual selling exhibition of contemporary craft and design November 20 – December 24.

South West designers and makers interested in exhibiting in ‘Present Makers 2010’ at the THG should email Angela Blackwell the Gallery Curator ablackwell@eastdevon.gov.uk with the following information:

  • A brief statement about yourself and your work (no more than one side of A4)
  • A CV
  • Five high quality images (jpegs please)
  • An idea of your retail prices

Alternatively send a CD with this information to:

The closing date for these submissions is Monday, September 13.

A selection of the successful makers will also be invited by the curator to exhibit in the THG Shop in 2011.

Unfortunately we will not be able to show work by all of those who submit and the final decision will be taken
by the curator. Those selected will be informed by email by Friday, October 8.

There is no charge for submission of entries or for exhibiting at the gallery. However, the Thelma Hulbert Gallery will take a 40% commission on anything sold during the exhibition. All work is taken on a sale or return basis.

Artists are not required to be present whilst this exhibition is on although it is hoped they will attend the private view on Saturday 20 November (3pm – 5pm)

The current exhibition ‘Renewal & Regeneration’ continues until 11 September free admission and there’s still plenty of time to vote for ‘The Visitor’s Choice’
