Devon-based artist Clem So’s exhibition Tracing the Intangible opens at the Centrespace Gallery, Bristol on Wednesday, February 2 – Chinese New Year. This is his workspace.
Clem’s work explores the layers of identity, which are manifest through memories, ancestors and cultural icons.
“Through a combination of the traditional and digital process, I am able to peel back and reveal hidden layers of abstracted texture and portraiture,” said Clem.
