Artists: would you like to hire the art gallery at Harbour House for your own exhibition? It’s a large, light, ground floor space that lends itself equally well to solo and group exhibitions.
Applications are now invited for 2017 exhibitions in Kingsbridge, and artists can apply to hire the space for one or two weeks at a time.
Harbour House arts co-ordinator Alison Veazey says, “This is the largest gallery space available to hire for miles around.
“As the ground floor of a converted Georgian building, it’s ideal for group exhibitions as it breaks naturally into three distinct sections, while solo artists enjoy having the space to spread out their work and see it surrounded by white walls and high ceilings.
“Artists new to exhibiting needn’t be daunted: we offer plenty of advice and help from the outset, and at Harbour House we work hard to promote each exhibition.
“As we are supported by a charitable foundation, we are able to keep gallery hire costs low. Artists hoping to exhibit with us in 2017 will need to get an application to us by 1 July 2016, when a small panel of invited artists will assess all entries.
“You can download an application form from our website – and do get in touch well in advance if you have any queries!”
