Join Devon Philharmonic Orchestra and newly-appointed Music Director Benjamin Voce for a family-friendly evening concert at West Exe School.
The programme features Paul Dukas’s Fanfare Pour Précéder La Péri, Rossini’s Overture to William Tell, Butterworth’s Two English Idylls and Beethoven’s Symphony No.6 and explores an over-arching pastoral theme.
The Rossini and Beethoven are intense, emotional works, which convey images of storms and more pastoral scenes, whilst the Butterworth provides a gentle interlude, weaving folk tunes from around England into mini symphonic studies.

Devon Philharmonic Orchestra Summer Concert takes place on Saturday 8 July 2023, 7:30pm West Exe School, Exeter
Tickets cost £10 and £5 for students and under 16s. A family ticket (2 adults and up to 2 children) is available for the reduced price of £25. Tickets are available online from or on the door.
