The industrial mining landscape of the Tamar Valley and Victorian Tavistock will be explored on a creative writing called the John Taylor Heritage Weekend – Canals, Copper and Creative Writing on Saturday, November 21 and Sunday, November 22.
The weekend will form a practical historical short story workshop with the opportunity to see your resulting story published as an on-line supplement of Margins magazine in 2010.
Two guided walks around the town will provide you with additional historical background and settings for your stories.
The places are limited and the fee is £50 (course fee only).
