Art students from Plymouth University will have their work on show in the Handmade House, at Plymouth’s Drake Circus Shopping Centre on Thursday, November 19 from 9am to 9pm
It takes place during this year’s Enterprise Week and Global Entrepreneurship Week and the money raise will help support the student’s final year exhibition at the Free Range (the largest graduate creative showcase in Europe) and New Designers student showcase events in London next year.
On show will be the students’ original artwork, limited edition prints, posters, t-shirts and many other 2D and 3D artefacts.
Dave Hotchkiss, Centre Manager of ICCI, the university’s Creative and Cultural initiative, told Arts+Culture: “We had an unbelievably event last year and I know that this year’s students are keen to build on this success.
“Enterprise awareness is an essential element in the educational experience and will help to ensure that the next generation of artists and designers are equipped with the skills and attitude to capitalise on their creative talent.”
The exhibition will take place in the Upper Mall exhibition area of the Drake Circus shopping centre, near Stormfront Apple reseller who are kindly sponsoring the event for the second year.
