Two commissions are on offer from Torbay Council and Gingko Projects to artist/designer/makers to research, design and deliver a new crossing point and gateway feature located in the water meadows of Cockington Court, Torquay.
The commissions are part of an overall project which aims promote more sustainable access to this visitor attraction and enhance the site’s legibility.
Work on the design of the both will commence in December 2009 with completion of the project by June 2010.
For the crossing point project the total budget is £25,000. For the gateway project the total budget is £35,000.
The deadline for expressions of interest is 5.30pm on the Monday, November 23.
