The Exeter Phoenix has four incubator studio spaces that are available for periods of either six months or one year to Devon-based artists working in any artform.
The aim of these spaces is to enable artists to explore and develop their practice or to complete specific projects which particularly require this kind of space. Each studio measures approx 13 square metres and there is a small service charge which includes electricity, internet access, lighting and heating.
Other facilities based at Exeter Phoenix include exhibition spaces, IT and video editing suites, drama and dance studios, print workshop, recording studio, community radio station and Café Bar.
Incubator spaces are available on a rolling, staggered basis and applications are reviewed every three months. The next review will be held in October.
To apply, send your CV together with a brief outline of your practice and how this space will enable it to develop to: Director, Exeter Phoenix, Bradninch Place, Gandy Street, Exeter, EX4 3LS or: director@exeterphoenix.org.uk.
