Plymouth Arts Centre is calling for artists (including students) from Devon and Cornwall, who are interested in deevloping performance elements in their work to get into touch.
It’s all part of the symposium and exhibition The Pigs of Today are the Hams of Tomorrow and performance artist Marina Abramović will select seven artists to develop a ‘site-specific durational’ performance work around Plymouth City Market (this bit of the symposium is called Performance Market).
The aim of Performance Market is to support emerging performance practices and selected artists will have the opportunity to take part in workshops and surgeries to develop their idea.
Deadline for applications by email is 5pm Monday, November 23.
If you are unsure if your work is eligible please contact us the arts centre. Check out the performance page of the Plymouth Arts Centre website, or contact Caroline Mawdsley, education and outreach curator, email firstname.lastname@example.org, call 01752 206 114.
